Why are you serving with Y.A.L.L.?: I am serving with Y.A.L.L so that I can serve as a guide and be able to empower the current generation of students who, like me, share a passion toward social justice issues in today's society. Being a part of this program allows me to be able to use my voice and work with other like-minded students to help contribute to the change in today's world. I'm excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something great and impactful.


Work Area(s):

Advocacy from Campus to Capitol Hill:

  • Organized campus voter registration events and nonpartisan voter education in Fall 2024.
  • October 2024–Led lobby visits on Capitol Hill with Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) and Senator Tammy Baldwin’s (D-WI) staffs on the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act.
  • March 2025–Led a lobby visit on Capitol Hill with Rep. Gwen Moore (WI-4) staff to discuss budget reconciliation in regards to defunding detention and deportation.
  • April 2025–Led a virtual lobby visit with Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) staff to discuss budget reconciliation in regards to Medicaid funding.
