Ways to Give to NETWORK

We'd like to make giving as easy as possible. Explore the options below for the giving method that best suits you.

Donate Online

At this page, you have the option to make a one-time gift, or set up a recurring gift in monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual installments.

Write and Mail a Check

Please write your check to “NETWORK Advocates.” If you wish to make gifts to NETWORK Advocates or NETWORK Lobby’s annual operations at the same time, please use separate checks to ensure we have clear accounting between organizations and funds.

Enroll in Workplace Giving

If you are a federal employee, you can support NETWORK’s ministry of justice by participating in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Many state and local governments — and even some private corporations — offer payroll deduction programs that may allow you to make gifts to NETWORK. Your tax-deductible gifts will support the Institute’s work of research and education.

Name to look for in the CFC: Nuns on the Bus (NETWORK Education Program)
CFC number: 65574
Name for other workplace campaigns: NETWORK Education Program
Tax ID number: 52-1307764

Participate in Employer Gift Matching

You can double or even triple your impact when your employer participates in a matching gift program. Many companies encourage charitable giving among their employees through matching gift programs.  Gifts made by current employees, employees’ spouses, and even retirees may be eligible for matching support.

Contact your employer’s human resources department to see if they have a matching gift program. If this option is available to you, be sure to search for and indicate “NETWORK Education Program” or use the tax ID number: 52-1307764.

Other Ways to Give

For the gift types below, please contact NETWORK staff in advance to let us know that the gift is coming, and that you intend for this gift to be directed to NETWORK Advocates. Gifts sometimes arrive without donor information, and if you let us know, we will be able to look out for your gift and send you acknowledgment for your records.

Give From Your Retirement Account

If you are 70 1/2 years or older, you can make a gift to NETWORK Advocates directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), and it won’t count towards your taxable income for the year — up to $100,000 per taxpayer per year. Qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) must be transferred directly from your IRA custodian to NETWORK Advocates by December 31 in order to be counted as qualified charitable distributions for the year.

As with all gifts of this nature, you should consult with your financial/tax advisor. If you have additional questions, please contact Maggie Brevig at mbrevig@networklobby.org or (202) 601-7864.

Designate a Gift Through Donor-Advised Funds

Consider making a gift to NETWORK Advocates (NETWORK Education Program) through your donor-advised fund or family foundation. Most Donor-Advised Funds will be able to make a contribution using the name “NETWORK Education Program” or our Tax ID number: 52-1307764.
