Sister Simone Campbell appeared on the PBS show Religion & Ethics Newsweekly over the Fourth of July weekend. The topic of the show was the morality of choices being considered on how to address the country’s $14.3 trillion debt. Also on the show: former Republican Senator Alan Simpson, co-chair of last year’s special presidential commission on the debt and Alice Rivlin of Brookings, a commission member and  founding director of CBO and former OMB director and Federal Reserve Vice Chair.
