Why are you serving with Y.A.L.L.?: I am serving Y.A.L.L to help achieve equity and justice for all members of society. As well as heighten the awareness of the importance in using our rights when it comes to voting.


Work Area(s):

Advocacy from Campus to Capitol Hill:

  • Organized campus voter registration events and nonpartisan voter education in Fall 2024.
  • October 2024–Led a lobby visit on Capitol Hill with Senator Bob Casey’s (D-PA) staff on the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act.
  • March 2025–Led a lobby visit on Capitol Hill with Rep. Dwight Evans’ (PA-3) staff to discuss budget reconciliation in regards to Medicaid
  • May 2025–Led a virtual lobby visit with Senator John Fetterman’s (D-PA) staff to discuss budget reconciliation in regards to SNAP.
