Washington, DC – On Wednesday, July 24 at 1:30 PM, Sister Simone Campbell and other members of NETWORK’s “Nuns on the Bus” campaign will brief Members of Congress, congressional staffers and guests on the need for quick action on immigration reform. The Catholic Sisters just returned from a 6800-mile cross-country bus trip, where they met with immigrants, business leaders, elected officials and many others directly impacted by this critical issue. They will speak about what they heard and experienced during the trip and why Congress must act right away.
